Explore the mystical "Ice Monsters" of Zao, Yamagata. Choose your path: a relaxing hike through white forests or a challenging trek to a hidden frozen cathedral.
Escape to the "Arcadia of Asia"
Deep in the mountains of Yamagata lies a world of silence and silver. Here, the trees freeze into "Ice Monsters" (Juhyo), and waterfalls turn into blue glass sculptures.
We offer two exclusive guided tours starting from the Zao Liza World area. Whether you are a family looking for a magical walk or an adventurer seeking a challenge, we have the perfect snowshoe experience for you.
